Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes rules for using NinjaWatcher's website, software, and services. It forms part of our Terms of Use. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Permitted use
You may use NinjaWatcher only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes to protect your own or your family's devices and to supervise minors in your care. Use must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
2. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Service to:
- Circumvent protection: Bypass, disable, or attempt to defeat any tamper-protection, authentication, licensing, or access control in the NinjaWatcher software or service.
- Resell or redistribute: Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or any part of it, or use it to offer a competing or derivative product without our written permission.
- Abuse or overload: Overload, disrupt, or harm our systems or networks (e.g., denial-of-service attacks, scraping that degrades service).
- Illegal activity: Use the Service in connection with any illegal activity, including fraud, harassment, distribution of illegal content, or violation of others' rights.
- Impersonation: Impersonate NinjaWatcher, our staff, or any other person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Reverse engineering: Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
3. Account and subscription
You may not share account credentials with others in a way that violates the Terms or your plan (e.g., one account per household for Family plan). You may not use the Service without paying applicable fees when required (e.g., exceeding free tier limits or using paid features without a subscription).
4. Content and filtering
NinjaWatcher is a content-safety tool. You are responsible for how you configure and use it. We do not guarantee that our filtering will catch all inappropriate or harmful content. You may not use the Service to filter or monitor devices in a way that violates applicable law (e.g., unauthorized surveillance where prohibited).
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or take other action we deem appropriate. We may cooperate with law enforcement and may disclose information as required by law or to protect our rights and users.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
